User content (videos) may remain hosted until deleted by you or removed under our policies. Some residual copies may persist temporarily in backups or caches. When an account is deleted, we may retain non-personally identifiable in-app purchase records for financial auditing, reporting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. These records may include an anonymous user identifier, the product purchased, and a timestamp, but are no longer linked to a specific identifiable account. An uploaded profile picture may remain in secure backup storage for a short period, such as up to 30 days, before being purged through automated backup cycles. 8. SECURITY We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including: (a) encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), (b) access controls and least-privilege principles, (c) security monitoring and incident response practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. 9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY; PARENTAL CONSENT We are committed to protecting children and complying with applicable child privacy laws (including GDPR/UK GDPR and COPPA where applicable). The Service is not directed to children under 13, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly permit such children to create accounts or use the Service. ClipKing applies an under-16 parental consent and approval process. During email/password registration, a User identified as under 16 must provide a parent/guardian email address different from the User’s own email address. We send a consent request to that address and record the consent status. Purchases by Users under 16, including ClipChips purchases, require a separate parental approval step through the Service. Providing a parent/guardian email address does not itself constitute verified consent or purchase approval. Parents/guardians may contact us to request access, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, which may limit or terminate the child’s ability to use the Service. If you believe we collected a child’s data without valid consent, contact us at support@clipkingapp.com. 10. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES 10.1 Account Controls You may update certain account details in-app. You can permanently delete your account directly in the ClipKing app by opening your Profile page, scrolling to the bottom, tapping “Delete Account,” confirming the deletion, and re-entering your password when prompted. For help, contact support@clipkingapp.com or review the Account and Data Deletion page at https://clipkingapp.com/account-deletion.html. Account deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and the identifiable User profile stored in Firestore, including the User ID, username, email address, birth date, parent email (if provided), and current ClipChips balance. As explained in Section 7, non-personally identifiable purchase records may be retained for financial, legal, fraud-prevention, and audit purposes, and residual profile-picture backups may remain for a short period before automated deletion. 10.2 EEA/UK Rights If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have the right to: (a) access your personal data, (b) correct inaccurate data, (c) request deletion, (d) object to processing, (e) request restriction, (f) data portability, (g) withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent), (h) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 10.3 Other Jurisdictions Depending on your location, you may also have rights under other data protection laws (for example, laws in the United States, Canada, Brazil, or other jurisdictions). Where such laws apply, we will honor applicable rights requests in accordance with those laws. You may contact us at support@clipkingapp.com to exercise your rights. 10.4 Push Notifications If we send push notifications, you can opt out via device settings. 10.5 Analytics Choices Some analytics/diagnostics may be controlled through device-level settings or in-app settings (if provided). Certain essential diagnostics may still be processed for security and reliability. 11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES The Service may contain links or integrations to third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies. 12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in-app, by email, or through another appropriate method where required. The updated notice will state its effective date. Where a change requires consent under applicable law, we will request that consent separately rather than treating continued use of the Service as consent. 13. CONTACT US If you have questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact: support@clipkingapp.com We appreciate your trust in us to protect your personal data.
